Renfrew Pro Tape “Hockey Juggle”Contest
Official Rules and Regulations
This contest will be interpreted according to applicable Federal and Provincial law. Renfrew Pro Tape (hereafter referred to as the “Sponsor”) is the sponsor of the contest.
THE CONTEST: The Renfrew Pro Tape Hockey Juggle Contest begins on Feb 8, 2017 at 2:30:00 PM EST and concludes on April 5, 2017, at 2:30:00 PM EST (the “Contest Closing Date”).
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase is required to enter. How to enter:
1. “Like” the Renfrew Pro Tape Facebook page at facebook.com/RenfrewProTape
2. Video record yourself or a friend showing your ability to juggle using a hockey stick and puck
3. Post the video on Facebook using tag @RenfrewProTape and use the hashtag #RenfrewJuggle
If you do not compete the contest as above, you may enter the contest by mailing your first and last name, complete address, daytime phone number (with area code), age and email address to:

ENTRY LIMIT: Entrants are allowed one (1) entry per person, per day.
ELIGIBILITY: The Entrant must follow Contest directions (“HOW TO ENTER”) in full to be eligible. The Contest is open to all individuals who:
hold an active Facebook account.
reside in the United States or Canada.
have reached the age of majority in their state, province or territory of residence as of the date of entering the Contest. If not yet reached age of majority, have a parent or guardian’s permission to participate.
A person for whom a publicity contest is carried on, his employee, and the persons with whom they are domiciled may not enter the contest.
Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies, representative or mandatary, its advertising and promotion agencies and the independent judging organization are not eligible to participate in this contest. Non-eligibility for the Contest extends to members of the immediate family (such as their father, mother, brothers, sisters or children) of employees/affiliates, their legal or common-law spouses or any persons with whom such employees/affiliates reside.
PRIZE DETAILS:
The winner will be awarded one (1) Grand Prize of three (3) cases of Renfrew Pro Tape, approximate retail value of $500 CAD.
The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or convertible to cash. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component for one of equal or greater value for any reason whatsoever.
CONTEST DRAW: Winning participant will be selected by Octopus Ink in Toronto, Ontario based on highest number of likes obtained on a single posted video. The winner selection will be conducted within 3 business days of the Contest Closing Date and potential prize winner will be contacted by April 11, 2017. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected by a random draw from the eligible participants with highest number of post likes. Odds of winning are dependent on the total number of eligible entries received. In order to win the prize, the selected entrant must first correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by email or telephone.
The potential prize winner will be notified by a direct Facebook inbox message to their Facebook profile and will be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within five (5) business days of notification via email. If the potential prize winner cannot be contacted via direct message to their Facebook profile page or fails to return the contest documents within the specified time, he/she will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected based on next highest number of likes on their posted video.
The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or servers, computer software problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website. All participants agree that the Sponsor is not liable for damage to an entrant's or any person's computer resulting from participating in the Contest.
GENERAL: This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering the contest, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and by the decisions which shall be final with respect to all matters relating to this contest. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. The Sponsor has the rights to publicize any or all video submissions including photos and text submitted to the contest along with first name, first initial of last name and city of residence of the entrant in any media publication of the Sponsor’s choosing. By entering the contest, all entrants consent to the collection, use and distribution of their personal information by the Sponsor for the purposes of running and promoting the contest. All entrants consent to be contacted by email for future electronic communications from the Sponsor. Information is stored in accordance with Renfrew Pro Tape’s Privacy Policy. The Sponsor will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering the contest.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest or to modify the contest rules at any time without notice. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to exclude submissions it deems inappropriate. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of the law and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement
All entries made by robotic or other automated means will be disqualified.
